Success for me means having the time and resources to live my life according to my values. I believe time is the most valuable currency we have and I am always conscious of how I spend it.

What is something you think you might regret not doing in life?
Taking an extended break to travel and experience another country / way of life with my sons.
What’s the most beautiful word in the world?
What activity do you do that makes you feel most like yourself?
Swimming and/or just being near the ocean
What do you want people to say about you once you’re gone?
That she loved with all her heart, that she felt real joy, that she gave joy to others.

What does success look like for you?
I am my own boss running a business that brings value and enrichment to the lives of others. My business allows me the flexibility to be fully present and engaged with my son for all of those important childhood moments I don’t want to miss. (I will be that volunteer parent on the class field trip!). My work also produces revenue that allows us to achieve our family goals while fulfilling my career goals.

What is something you think you might regret not doing in life?
Spending enough time with people that mean the most to me. Family, friends...and really truly being present.

What’s the most beautiful word in the world?

What do you want people to say about you once you’re gone?
That I brought joy and enrichment in some way to their lives and they felt my gratitude for them and the world around me.

What are you terrible at but love to do anyway?
I just asked my husband this about me and he said without hesitation “choreographed hip hop dancing”. I’ll leave it at that.

We are currently working on a side project called Cocktails and Convos #projectsoulsisters - the aim is to bring small groups of women together to connect in person and have brave conversations about the topics we all face but don't often share. All proceeds from this series will be donated to women in our community facing hardships. Our first event is on May 31, 2018 and we are partnering with Baby Go Round of Vancouver, B.C.
